Dad TEDDY C. BLEVINS, along with his brother, has been arrested for aggravated child abuse for injuring Blevin's 5-month-old daughter. Keystone Heights resident Teddy C. Blevins, 20, was arrested July 15 by Bradford County Sheriff's Office deputies for aggravated child abuse. His brother, Luis Manuel Linton, 27, has also been charged as an accessory after the fact.

Blevins was arrested after taking the child to an Alachua County hospital where medical staff noted a handprint on his five-month-old daughter's lower right leg.

After investigation, Blevins stated that, around 6:30 a.m. that morning, the infant had been crying in its crib.

Blevins stated he became angry, grabbed the child by its leg and tossed the child from her stomach onto her back.

Blevins' action allegedly left the mark on the child's leg and broke her right femur bone in two places.

Linton was arrested after giving false information to aid Blevins during questioning by BCSO Investigator Kevin Mueller.

Total bond for Linton was set at $5,000. Bond for Blevins has been set at $15,000. Both men lived at the same address. The infant has since been released to its mother.
