Dad admits throwing 3-year-old son off bridge, but claims "demons" made him do it (Baltimore, Maryland)
We've posted on this case many times, but notice the mental health spin on it now. "Demons" made dad STEPHEN NELSON throw his 3-year-old son off a bridge. Bullsh**. If you have followed the story carefully over the past two years, you know that this is a classic abuser daddy who murdered his kid so as to get his way (and punish the mother) in a custody "dispute."

BALTIMORE, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- A Baltimore man is facing 50 years in prison after admitting he threw his 3-year-old son off the Key Bridge in 2008.
Second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death convictions could each mean 30-year jail terms for Stephen Nelson but Judge Charles Peters agreed to limit the term when Nelson pleaded guilty Tuesday, the Baltimore Sun reported.
"It gives me a whole lot of closure, a whole lot," said the boy's mother, Natisha Johnson. Prosecutors gave her a veto over the deal, said Julie Drake of the state's attorney's office.
Nelson had claimed that "demons" made him kill his child, Turner.
"The most important factor was to assure that the defendant be committed to the Department of Corrections and not the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene," Drake said.
Nelson tried to take his own life after killing his son, and the defense planned a psychiatric defense, but both sides said he was competent to make the plea.
Nelson was watching the boy on Feb. 3, 2008, and was supposed to return him to Johnson that night.
He called her, saying, "Me and Turner aren't coming home. We're going to die tonight."
