SUWANEE, Ga. -- The Suwanee Police Department is investigating after a deadly triple shooting at an apartment complex on McGinnis Ferry Road.

Suwannee Police were called out to a home around 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday night on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found three people dead in the home.

Police believe it was a double murder-suicide.

Police believe 40-year-old Kenneth Michael Turner of Lawrencville shot and killed 24-year-old Tiffany Hulsey and 36-year-old Deanna Griffin before turning the gun on himself.

Hulsey is the estranged girlfriend of Turner according to police. Griffin was rooming in the apartment with Hulsey.

There were three children in the home at the time of the shooting, although none were injured. Two belonged to Hulsey - a 5-year-old and an 8-month-old baby. The baby's father was Turner. There was also a 8-year-old child in the home that belonged to Griffin. The kids were taken away from the apartment by a neighbor and all are now with family.

According to Captain Clyde Byers, approximately four days ago, Hulsey had made a police report on Turner, saying that he had made threats against her. Police investigated the claims, but said that they didn't have probable cause to arrest him at that time.
