Dad rams mom's car, assaults her, kidnaps 9-month-old daughter (Dayton, Ohio)

No matter what the fathers rights people say, it's always about control for these abuser dads. Do you think this father was just wanting more "quality time" with his infant daughter when he rammed the car she was in, and risked injuring her? Was it a sign of love when he bashed the mother in the face and took the baby? Was it a sign of parental responsibility and concern when he smashed the rear window?

They'll tell you it was. I say bullsh**.

The scumbag dad is identified as CHARLES CUNNINGHAM.

Police: Father rammed car; snatched baby

By Breaking News Staff

DAYTON — A Dayton father is in the Montgomery County Jail accused of ramming his ex-girlfriend’s car with their baby inside, assaulting her and taking the child.

One other vehicle was struck and damaged during the domestic incident.

The baby was eventually returned to a family member uninjured.

According to a Dayton Police incident report, Charles Cunningham followed his ex in a van from his sister’s house at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. She reported that he called her cellphone and threatened to ram the car if she didn’t stop.

Their 9-month-old daughter was in the back seat of the mother’s car.

On Catalpa Drive near West Fairview Avenue, Cunningham alleged pushed her car with his, causing her to drive into oncoming traffic and then strike another car.

The subjects in the other car corroborated the story, saying they saw a van pushing a Dodge Ram before they were hit, according to the report.

When the victim stopped her car, Cunningham allegedly got out and struck her in the face several times before taking the baby from her child seat.

He allegedly put the baby in his van and then came back with a baseball bat to smash the victim’s rear window, according to the report.

Police and family members talked to Cunningham on the phone and convinced him to return the child to his mother’s house, where he was later arrested.

Cunningham, 38, could be charged with four counts of felonious assault, one count of interfering with custody, and one count of felony domestic violence.
