Police: Dad kidnapped, drowned two sons (Dallas, Texas)

Our latest killer/control freak dad is NAIM RASOOL MUHAMMAD. He'd rather murder his own two children than see them (potentially) raised by "another man." It's always about Daddy, isn't it? And his intense desire to hurt the mother in the worst way possible. Even if two little kids have to die in the process, so Daddy can exercise his maximum control over life itself. No surprise that this piece of sh** had a history of domestic violence, is it? Or that we had to pull the maximum Daddy Drama out of this double slaying with SWAT teams, helicopters, police dogs, and the whole nine yards.

Hat tip to A.

DALLAS - Dallas police arrested a man who they said drowned his two sons after kidnapping them while they were walking with their mother on the way to school.

Deputy Police Chief Craig Miller said 32-year-old Naim Rasool Muhammad forced his wife and the two boys -- ages 3 and 5 -- into a car at about 7:15 a.m. Monday as they were walking to Fraizer Elementary near Fair Park.

After about an hour and a half the woman managed to escape from the vehicle near a McDonald's restaurant. She apparently stopped constables for help but they were unable to pursue Muhammad because they had no lights and sirens in the car. They instead contacted Dallas police for help.

Miller said relatives of both the man and the woman called 911 concerned about the children’s safety.

Naimah Muhammad said she got in her car and actually found her son. When she demanded to see the children he took her to a creek behind a neighborhood near E. Ledbetter Drive.

"At first when I saw them I was saying, 'It can't be true! It can't be true!' But once he got them out of the creek and brought them to my car, and I seen they was dead I knew it was true," she said. "That's when I called 911 and told them I had my grandkids and they're dead."

Muhammad fled the scene before police arrived. Officers used dogs, helicopters and SWAT teams to find him about a mile away shortly after 1 p.m.

The children were taken to Children's Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.

Miller said the investigation is still ongoing and witnesses are still being questioned.

He said the suspect did try to take a third 1-year-old child from another location but was unsuccessful because relatives stepped in to help.

Police believe they are dealing with a case of ongoing domestic violence but said that there were no protective orders or restraining orders in place so it was not illegal for Muhammad to simply take his children.

"I think everyone's hurt in this case. I think officers that opened up the trunk of a vehicle and see a deceased 3-year-old and a 5-year-old; I think it makes each one of us think about our own children, the vulnerableness of life. And I think that he's hurting and I think that everyone involved in this situation is hurting. It's a very unfortunate incident," Miller said.

Naimah Muhammad said she believes her son killed his children because he didn't want another man to raise them. She believes he needs help.

Muhammad is expected to be charged with two counts of capital murder.
