Dad charged with trying to poison children (Wyoming, Michigan)

Dad JOSE ENRIQUE OLIVA-ROSA has been charged with attempted murder after he threatened to poison his two children. Given that the setting is distinctly identified as the Dad's home and that police had to force their way in, I wonder if the mother even lived there, or whether this is a custody/visitation situation.
