Evil dad jailed after repeatedly raping his own daughter (Adelaide, Australia)

UNNAMED DAD has pleaded guilty to persistent sexual exploitation of a child, indecent assault, and posssessing pornography. This @$$wipe repeatedly raped his daughter for years, and often plied her with alcohol as well.

Note that the abuse is said to have started "at his house" (meaning the father's house). Is this a subtle way of saying that this father did not cohabitate with the mother, since there is not a reference to a family home per se? Did this case involve custody and visitation? Unfortunately, reporters choose to be obscure and obtuse about these issues.

Evil South Australian father jailed after repeatedly raping his own daughter

A SOUTH Australian father who regularly plied his underage daughter with alcohol before sexually abusing her has been sentenced to 10 years in jail.

The 46-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had pleaded guilty to one count each of the persistent sexual exploitation of a child, indecent assault and two counts of possessing child pornography.

In sentencing today, District Court judge Paul Rice said the man had repeatedly plied his daughter with alcohol between the ages of 12 and 17 before assaulting her.

"Your abuse was on a regular and ongoing basis," he said.

"She cannot remember all the instances but it must have been in the hundreds and at least once or twice a week."

He said the man began abusing the girl at his house in 1996 when she was aged eight and only stopped in 2005 when she had her first boyfriend.

Judge Rice said the daughter would never recover from the torment her father had put her through.

"There is no doubt that your offending has had a profound affect on you daughter ... (It will) affect her always."

"It is stating the obvious that this type of offending is a massive breach of trust. There was ample time for reflection and to decide to stop it."

In a victim impact statement read to the court last month, the man's daughter told him: "You may be my father, but you are no father to me."

Judge Rice said the man had also repeatedly abused one of her daughter's school friends and police had found about 500 images of child pornography at his house.

He sentenced the man to 10 years in jail with a non-parole period of six years.
