Custodial dad accused of slashing 5-year-old son's throat to be arraigned (Phoenix, Arizona)

Custodial father NASHAWN CAMPBELL is now charged with first degree-murder in the death of his son (he slashed the throat of the five-year-old). What this particular update doesn't mention is that "Court documents show a judge awarded Campbell sole custody of his son last summer. Three months ago, the boy's natural mother filed to get that changed. She was asking the court to give her sole custody." In think in retrospect, we can guess why--and it wasn't because dad was "depressed" over losing his job. See link here:

PHOENIX -- A Valley father charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his 5-year-old son will be arraigned today.

Investigators say Nashawn Campbell, 38, slit his little boy's throat and then tried to kill himself on June 2. Campbell survived and was taken to the hospital.

According to court documents, Campbell's sister said her had been depressed about losing his job.

Campbell was arrested and is being held on $1 million bond. He also faces charges of child abuse.
