Reno man arrested for child abuse, domestic battery after infant's leg broken

A 32-year-old Reno man was jailed on charges he allegedly battered and abused his infant daughter, Reno police said.
Terrance Reed Smith was booked Tuesday into the Washoe County Jail on suspicion of domestic battery and child abuse. He remained in custody Wednesday in lieu of $6,772 bail.
Authorities said the baby’s mother Tuesday morning had taken the child to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center after she seemed to be in pain. Doctors determined the child had an injury to her leg that was consistent with child abuse, according to a police report.
Detectives allege Smith had been alone with the child just prior to her mother taking over her care. Smith was arrested following an interview with detectives.

I can appreciate the need for a website that makes people aware of S**tbag's out there that abuse their children or anyone for that matter... But, I have NOT been found guilty of abuse nor will I since I DID NOT abuse my daughter that I love with all my heart... noone has even tried to get the facts or any other information that the news said it...so it must be true. Really? Are we all now just cows mooing and walking along the velvet ropes in line waiting to gossip and later fade away and die! Why don't you try to think outside the box for a sec... The police are doing their job and I do not fault them for that... I promise all of you out there in twitter land that I didn't beat my baby... So focus on all the rest of the alleged scumbags and leave me and my love that I love and loves me alone. Thank you.
