Dad, son arrested for raping 13-year-old girl (Troy, New York)

Dad SCOTT WOLF is one crappy role model. Given that he has a known history of sexually engaging with minors going back at least 5 years (and probably going back further than that), he should have had his contact with his son cut off years ago. Instead, he's dragged Sonny Boy into a felony sexual assault charge along with him--and Sonny is just 18 years of age. Both are accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. Does anybody REALLY think this boy benefited from having his father in his life?

INVISIBLE MOTHER ALERT: Was there a mother in this situation at all? Sure isn't mention of one.

TROY -- A father and his son have been arrested on felony sexual assault charges for allegedly abusing a child, police announced Monday.

Robert Wolf, 18, of 18 Northern Drive, was arrested on charges of first-degree misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and felony first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.

His father, Scott Wolf, 40, also of 18 Northern Drive, was arrested on charged of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child and felony predatory sexual assault against a child.

Police arrested the men at about 12:30 p.m., after an intensive investigation, said Troy Police spokesperson Sgt. Terry Buchanan. Based on the charges, he said, the abuse took place several times over several months.

Police say the victim was under 13 years old, and was acquainted with the family, but are not elaborating further.

Scott Wolf has previously been the subject of a Troy Police investigation: In 2005, he was arrested for communicating online with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl and tried to initiate sexual conversation.

The two men were arraigned in Troy City Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday, May 7 in Troy Police Court.
