Dad charged with abusing 3-month-old daughter; baby had fractured arm, ribs (Ypsilanti Township, Michigan)
Dad CHARLES J. WASSON has been charged with 1st- and 2nd-degree child abuse after his infant daughter was hospitalized with a fractured arm and ribs. Seems Daddy "squeezed" the baby too hard. Ya think?

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- An arrest warrant has been issued for an Ypsilanti Township man accused of squeezing his 3-month-old so hard that her ribs fractured.
Charles J. Wasson, 30, has been charged with first -and second-degree child abuse.
If convicted, Wasson faces up to 15 years in prison.
Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department spokesman Derrick Jackson told the Annarbor.com that Wasson is expected to turn himself in soon.
Prosecutors said Wasson abused his daughter between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28 at his Essex Drive home.
Wasson and the baby's mother brought her to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital on March 10 with the rib injuries and a fractured arm.
Jackson told the Annarbor.com that he was not sure what the parents told hospital officials when they brought the baby to the hospital.
Child Protective Services are involved in the case, but it's unclear if the baby is in its custody.
