Dad in custody after 3-month-old son dies from head injury (St. Catherine, Jamaica)

Seems like the usual. UNNAMED DAD was mad at Mom, so he took it out on the 3-month-old baby. It appears he threw him to the floor and fractured his skull. The baby later died at the hospital.

Father in custody for child’s death

Detectives from the St Catherine-South Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a three month-old child at Park Avenue, Gutters, Old Harbour, St Catherine this morning.

The child is Adrian Anthony Brown.

The police say about 12:30 a.m. yesterday, Adrian’s parents were at home when a domestic dispute developed between them.

The mother reportedly received a phone call and left the room.

The police say upon her return, the baby was found on the ground with injuries to the head.

He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he died while being treated.

The father of the child has been taken into custody for questioning in relation to the incident.
