A 10-month-old Toledo boy was shot in the hand last night, and police issued an arrest warrant for the baby's father.

Police responded about 6:50 p.m. to a report that a person had been shot at 2441 North Detroit Ave. They arrived to find Mar'Vail Walker with a gunshot wound in the hand.

The weapon used was a handgun, but the circumstances were unclear, Sgt. Tim Campbell said.

Mario D. Walker, 28, was charged with child endangering, a felony. His address was unknown.

The baby was taken to Toledo Hospital, where his condition was not available. The child's injures were not believed to be life-threatening, Sergeant Campbell said.
