Dad convicted of killing 8-year-old daughter and her mother; 4-year-old daughter abandoned at the scene because was "Aryan" (United Kingdom)
Hoping killer dad JOHN MILLER doesn't get out of prison in 15 years. Apparently that is a possibility.

Dad who killed his partner and daughter spared his youngest child because she is Aryan
A RACIST dad killed his partner and daughter but spared his youngest child because of her “pure Aryan genes”.

Four-year-old Amelia was left for at least 12 hours in a house with their bodies after her crazed father killed them in an axe and knife attack, a court has heard.
John Miller, 38, left his partner, Sarah Laycock, 31, and eight-year-old Abigail with terrible injuries at their Leeds home.
Leeds Crown Court heard how Amelia, was in the house as cannabis abuser Miller carried out the murders during a psychotic episode.
The judge was told how Miller expressed racist views and was a British National Party member.
He said after the murders that he did not kill Amelia because she was "a pure Aryan".
Miller clamed he heard voices from his computer and to have seen aliens before making a foil hat to block out signals.
The court heard that Amelia is now so terrified of her father she asks relatives "what is the size of the padlock on daddy's door?"
Miller denied murder but admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
Miller attacked his partner with a knife, stabbing her 19 times around the face, neck and chest - with one wound going through her eye.
He then hit her four times in the face with an axe.
The court heard that Abigail must have put up a considerable struggle, due to defensive injuries she suffered but she was finally killed with a wound to the neck.
After leaving the house, Miller went on a violent rampage, attacking paramedics who were called to the Fairburn Ings nature reserve.
When they fled, leaving him in the ambulance, he took off his clothes and was shouting and making racist remarks when officers arrived.
Police found Miss Laycock's body in the kitchen and her daughter was in the living room.
The court heard that police officers who were called to the incident and who were involved in the investigation were deeply affected by what they witnessed.
One officer has since resigned due to the trauma.
Miller was given a life sentence today by Mr Justice Coulson, who told him he must serve a minimum of 15 years.

Son convicted of 2nd-degree murder in shooting death of abusive white supremacist CUSTODIAL father (Riverside, California)
Why is this boy being patronized as a psychological basket case? What else was he supposed to do under the circumstances? Just put up with more beatings for the next eight years? It's not like a 10-year-old kid can take the car keys, leave home, press charges, and go to a shelter on his own.
Charming that the authorities blame a child for this "crime" when it was ADULTS who placed him with this abusive neo-Nazi father. It was ADULTS who gave this POS custody of a young boy. And it was ADULTS who refused to intervene after the fact despite ongoing abuse allegations. And then they're just shocked--SHOCKED--that the boy learned to emulate violent behavior from the old man. And finally retaliated when he'd had enough beatings. SHOCKED, they are.
Who was the judge who was responsible for this travesty of justice custody decision to begin with? Who supported that decision? Let's get real. Let's see the names. Frankly, I think they were just afraid of Daddy and what he could do to THEM. So they punted. Let a young child take the violent abuse instead of them.
All very nice for Daddy to tar the mother as abusive. But it's pretty clear where the truth was now, isn't it? Y'all messed up royally. Are you going to take responsibility? Nah. We're just going to blame it all on a kid who couldn't take it anymore.
So much for daddies being discriminated against in custody cases. Even this sh** had no trouble, did he?
The deceased father is identified as JEFF HALL.

Boy convicted of killing white supremacist father

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — A boy who was only 10 when he fatally shot his white supremacist father was convicted Monday of second-degree murder by a judge who said the child knew what he did was wrong.
Riverside Superior Court Judge Jean Leonard weighed the severity of the crime versus whether the amount of abuse and neglect suffered by the boy, now 12, played a significant role in the slaying of 32-year-old Jeff Hall, a regional leader of the National Socialist Movement.
Leonard noted the boy lay in bed, waited for the right moment and shot his dad at point-blank range with the "bad gun" — a .357 Magnum — while he slept on a sofa in the family home.
"This was not a complex killing," said Leonard, who heard the case without a jury. "He thought about the idea and shot his father."
The boy's stepmother told authorities that Hall had hit, kicked and yelled at his son for being too loud or getting in the way. Hall and the boy's biological mother had previously gone through a divorce and custody dispute in which each had accused the other of child abuse. She initially told authorities she had killed Hall but then quickly retracted her statement. She was not charged in the case.
Defense attorney Matthew Hardy said because of the abuse his client learned it was acceptable to kill people who were a threat. The boy thought if he shot his dad, the violence would end, Hardy said.
Also at issue were the father's racist beliefs.
Hall, who said he believed in a white breakaway nation, ran for a seat on the local water board in 2010 in a move that disturbed many residents in the recession-battered suburbs southeast of Los Angeles. The day before his death, he held a meeting of the neo-Nazi group at his home.
Hall had previously taken the boy on a U.S.-Mexico border patrol trip and showed him how to use a gun, according to court documents.
Prosecutors maintained Hall's white supremacist beliefs had nothing to do with the crime. They noted the boy had a history of violence that dated back to kindergarten when he stabbed a teacher with a pencil.
But Leonard said in her decision that the white supremacist beliefs did have an effect on the boy and "gave him thoughts normal kids don't have." Hardy maintains the boy isn't racist.
The challenge now for the legal system is to find the best place where the boy can be rehabilitated. Prosecutors said it's likely the boy, who is not being identified by The Associated Press because of his age, will most likely be placed in state custody, making him the youngest person currently in the custody of California's corrections department.
The blonde-haired boy, who wears glasses, showed no emotion after the verdict was read. "He knew it was coming," Hardy said.
"He's focused on trying to get it over with. Go someplace where he can get some help. He wants to be a normal kid and wants to have a normal life."
Hardy said he hoped the boy would not be sent to a juvenile lockup but rather be placed in a private facility that offers therapy, medical treatment and schooling.
"I just don't want him warehoused some place," said Hardy, who plans to appeal the judge's verdict. A sentencing hearing was set for Feb. 15. The boy could be jailed until he is 23.
Prosecutor Michael Soccio spoke to the boy after the hearing finished and said he wanted the child to know that his office wasn't "against him as a person. We want him to get help."
"He's a community problem in terms of what do we do about somebody that young," Soccio said outside of court. "It's an unbelievable case and a very difficult one for everybody involved and it will be all along."

Boy killed neo-Nazi custodial dad to end domestic abuse (Riverside, California)
What the media has largely ignored is how this neo-Nazi abusive father, JEFF HALL, managed to strip this boy's mother of custody--pure court intimidation, no doubt. If not a few secret ultra right-wing/fathers rights sympathizers in positions of power which I consider quite likely as well.
You know what's really crazy? That we have to label kids as "crazy" who object to being beaten up all their lives and practice a little self-defense. We seem to prefer that our kids become self-destructive--depressed, alcoholic, or drug addicted. And when they don't go that route, we all wring our hands and talk of mental illness. Why? No one stepped up to protect this child--not the step, not the courts, the police, or child protective services. And it's the kid who's nuts because he refused to take it any more?

Boy killed neo-Nazi dad to end domestic abuse
Wednesday, May 18, 2011
Rob McMillan
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- There was an unexpected delay Wednesday in the case of a Riverside boy accused of murdering his white-supremacist father.
Neo-Nazi leader Jeff Hall was shot to death in his own home, allegedly by his own 10-year-old son. Wednesday, more details were revealed about what might have set the child off.
According to the arrest declaration, the boy told police he was tired of his dad hitting him and his mom. So two and a half weeks ago he got his dad's .357 handgun and aimed it at his dad's ear while he was asleep and shot him.
The boy made his second court appearance Wednesday. He didn't enter a plea, but he will be given a mental health evaluation.
The defense wasn't available for comment, but prosecutors say it's possible the boy will plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
"Obviously in a case like this when we're talking about whether or not a 10-year-old boy can formulate the intent to commit first-degree murder, there's issues of whether or not he can comprehend what he's doing," said Riverside County Deputy District Attorney Ambrosio Rodriguez.
Hall's wife, the boy's stepmother, is also being charged in the aftermath of what happened in the home. Krista McCary is accused of child endangerment due to the number of unsecured guns police say they found in the home.
The prosecution says it's unlikely the stepmother would serve any time in state prison because they say she has no criminal record.
"We are giving her the option to turn herself in. We're doing that because of her close relationship to the juvenile in this case, and how important she is to him," said Rodriguez.
The boy is due in juvenile court on July 22.

Son, 10, says he shot Neo-Nazi CUSTODIAL dad (Riverside, California)
Notice that you have to read carefully to find out that this neo-Nazi daddy, JEFF RUSSELL HALL, had custody of this child. Though police are careful to say that the shooting had "nothing to do" with Daddy's politics, it is no secret that extreme ultra-right wingers are associated with authoritarianism, violence, and abuse in their personal lives--not just in their political lives. In addition, we know that past research has shown that many of these neo-Nazi/white supremacist abuser daddies are attracted to fathers rights politics, such as Stuart Showalter in Indiana. They are very big on helping abuser daddies get custody, so as to punish "the bitch" who left them. See this blog post on Showalter here:
http://mothersoflostchildren.wordpress.com/2009/07/09/former-neonaziskinhead-fights-for-boone-county-fathers-while-blasting-mothers/
So who gave Hall custody and why? Were we just a little bit afraid of him, so we caved? I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. So much for the myth that daddies can't get custody.
Here's my prediction, based on past cases of children who murdered abusive custodial fathers: There will be a major investigation. The report will be quickly sealed, since, after all, we wouldn't want to embarrass the authorities who knew about the father's violence and failed to do anything to protect the child. And then the child will be labeled "mentall ill" and sent to "a home." When in reality, the child was exercising his or her god-given right to self-defense. But that's how the system treats kids. That's the real sickness.

Police: Son, 10, says he shot Neo-Nazi dad06:45 AM PDT on Wednesday, May 4, 2011
By DAVID KECK and JOHN ASBURY
The Press-Enterprise
The 10-year-old son of a white supremacist leader told investigators during questioning that he intentionally shot his father with a handgun inside their Riverside home, police said.
Riverside police were still verifying the boy's statement as to what happened when Jeff Russell Hall was shot and killed at about 4 a.m. Sunday. The shooting had nothing to do with the 32-year-old man's neo-Nazi political activities with the National Socialist Movement, Lt. Ed Blevins said by phone Tuesday.
"We don't want to say a motive until we can verify what occurred," Blevins said. "We believe it was an intentional act. We think we know what happened, but tomorrow it could be something completely different."
"We're still looking at it," Blevins said, adding that it was a rather straightforward case. "There are still a couple of different angles to it."
The boy, oldest of Hall's five children, was expected to be charged Wednesday with murder, Blevins said. Police have not released the boy's name. He is being held at Juvenile Hall. The Riverside County district attorney was scheduled to interview the boy Tuesday afternoon, Blevins said.
District attorney's officials said any charges were confidential because of the boy's age. The boy is scheduled for a juvenile detention hearing Monday in Juvenile Court, district attorney's spokesman John Hall said. He can not be tried as an adult because he is under 14.
The boy is one of two children from Hall's first marriage, Blevins said. The mother of the boy and the second oldest child lived out of state. Three younger children, including toddlers, in the home belonged to Hall's second wife.
Child Protective Services took custody of the other four children, who also were in the home at the time of the shooting. Hall's current wife, who also was not named, is not suspected of any crime, Blevins said.
Police responded to a shots fired call at 4:04 a.m. Sunday and arrived to find Hall inside the home with a single bullet wound to his upper body. Riverside firefighters pronounced him dead 16 minutes later, according to the Riverside County coroner.
There was no reported argument leading up to the shooting and police believe the shooting occurred immediately before the 911 call.
Investigators recovered the pistol they believe was used in the shooting, along with a rifle. Blevins said they found the pistol under a bed. Authorities did not know if the guns were licensed to Hall.
Police had no record of previous calls to the home for domestic violence at the Halls home in the 5400 block of Lauder Court. Child abuse was not suspected. The boy had no history or prior run-ins with law enforcement.
Police had responded to a number of complaints about protesters at the residence demonstrating against Hall's activities with the Detroit-based National Socialist Movement, Blevins said.
Hall was the Southwestern States Regional Director for the organization, which promotes white separatism among other race-based goals. He gained national notoriety last year when he ran for Riverside's Western Municipal Water District, garnering over 25 percent of the vote.
On websites, Hall listed meetings held at his home on the last Saturday of every month and drew an organized protest last spring from counter groups who published his address.
Hall frequently led patrols at the U.S.-Mexico border against illegal immigrants in Arizona and California, according to the published reports and the National Socialist Movement website. He also led protests against illegal immigration around Southern California, including one in Riverside two years ago that turned violent when hundreds of counter-demonstrators faced off against the group.
Commander Jeff Schoep, head of the National Socialist Movement, called Hall in a statement on the organization's website, "A loving Father of five children, a family man, and a dedicated American Patriot."

Despite confession, clear evidence of infant's violent death, and suicide note, dad not arrested for murder (Clearwater, Florida)
The reporters do a credible job of laying out the facts that were more than apparent when police decided NOT to arrest dad CRAIG WALL for the death of his infant son. Despite 1) a video confession by the father, 2) fatal infant injuries that were consistent with battering and shaking (with Dad being the only adult at home), and 3) a suicide note , the police sat on their hands and did nothing. Well, they weren't really, really sure, you see.
Then Wall "allegedly" murdered the baby's mother while out on a puny $1000 bail after violating her restraining order.
Whatta a nice job, Clearwater police. What do you bozos do for an encore?

Results, not apology, will tell if Wall will face charges in baby son's death
By Rita Farlow and Dominick Tao, Times Staff Writers
Saturday, February 20, 2010
CLEARWATER — On the day Craig Alan Wall Sr.'s infant son died, Clearwater police obtained a search warrant for a red Nikon digital camera that police say contained a video of the father saying he "was sorry he did something to the baby."
The warrant also says that two doctors examined the baby, who died at a hospital on Feb. 6, and found fractured ribs and swelling on the left side of the baby's brain.
And Wall Sr., 34, left a suicide note on a computer in the apartment where the baby was found injured.
Despite those factors, police have not charged Wall in connection with the infant's death. Eleven days after the baby, Craig Wall Jr., died, his mother, Laura Taft, was found fatally stabbed at her Clearwater apartment. Wall Sr. is in custody in Sumter County, where police say he fled after killing Taft, who was his girlfriend.
Police spokeswoman Beth Watts said the department is awaiting a final cause-of-death report from the Medical Examiner's Office.
"It's a death investigation," Watts said. "It hasn't been classified as a homicide. We can't say what caused that child's death."
In the warrant, the medical director for the Child Protection Team in Pinellas County, an arm of the state Department of Health, said she "suspected that the baby was either shaken or thrown onto a soft-type surface to cause injury to the brain."
Watts said that was considered speculative. "Every time we have a suspicious death, it's not always ruled a homicide. You have to look at other factors," she said.
Watts said the language in the search warrant about Wall's statement on the video clip was "very vague and does not constitute a confession."
Taft's other child, Connor Taft, is not related to Wall. He was with his father when Taft was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning.
Wall will be extradited to Pinellas County to face a murder charge, Watts said.
Then Wall "allegedly" murdered the baby's mother while out on a puny $1000 bail after violating her restraining order.
Whatta a nice job, Clearwater police. What do you bozos do for an encore?

Results, not apology, will tell if Wall will face charges in baby son's death

Dad suspect in baby's death now in custody for murdering mom; had been released on $1000 bail (Clearwater, Florida)
ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS.
Ex-convict "white supremacist" dad CRAIG WALL SR. was already a "suspect" in the death of his 5-month-old son. The mother then took out an order of protection against him, which Daddy almost immediately violated. She said in her petition that he had "a very, very bad temper" and that he had threatened to kill her if she left him. But just as we saw in the recent STEPHEN GARCIA case, the mother's pleas were mimimized and ignored. So what does the judge do? He releases the father on a measly $1,000 bond.
So what do you think Daddy did then? Go home and contemplate the error of his ways? Of course not. He goes to the mother's place, kicks in the back door, and stabs her to death. Now a 6-year-old boy is coping with the murder of his baby brother and his mother, all in the course of just a few days.
Who is the judge in Pinellas County behind this latest outrage? I want to know the name.
And judging by the comments following this article, I'm not the only one is outraged about this judge.

Police: Clearwater stabbing victim was mother to baby who died; father is suspect

CLEARWATER — First he was named a suspect in his 5-week-old baby's death. Now he's suspected of fatally stabbing the child's mother at her apartment before dawn on Wednesday.
Ex-convict Craig Alan Wall Sr., 35, is in custody after police say he kicked in the back door of 29-year-old Laura Taft's apartment, argued with her and stabbed her to death — three days after he was arrested for violating a domestic violence injunction filed by Taft and released on $1,000 bail.
Elizabeth Watts, Clearwater Police spokeswoman, said a neighbor called 911 at about 3:20 a.m. Wednesday reporting a loud commotion coming from Taft's home at Park Place Apartments at 47 Fairwood Ave., No. 153.
Taft had recently moved into the apartment, according to police and neighbors. It was down the street from where she previously lived with Wall and where the infant stopped breathing.
Chino Vasquez, whose cousin lives in the same building, said he saw Taft carting items into the new unit on Sunday.
Another neighbor, Elizabeth Wandell, said "She moved out because of him. I don't blame her."
Wall was soon seen driving away in a red four-door car, and Taft died at the scene. Her body was found outside the front door, Watts said.
Watts said Taft's other child, 6-year-old Connor Taft, was not home during the incident, though it's not clear where he was.
Wall was found in his car in Sumter County, pulled over on the side of the road. He was mostly unresponsive and possibly under the influence of drugs, Watts said, and sheriff's deputies had to break the car's window to get Wall out.
Watts said he was arrested on murder charges and remained in custody in Sumter county as of about 8:30 a.m.
Police are calling this an extension of the death of the couple's 5-week-old child, Craig Wall Jr., who died Feb. 6 at All Children's Hospital after he was in his father's care at the family's apartment, 635 Fairwood Ave. No. 372.
Taft was not home when the child went into cardiac arrest on Feb. 5, according to Clearwater police, who are investigating.
An exact cause of death will be determined by the Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's Office.
On Sunday, Largo police arrested Wall for violating a domestic violence injunction filed by Taft after Wall showed up at his infant's memorial service.
Taft told police Wall "flipped her off" when he drove through the church parking lot.
He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail and released Monday after posting $1,000 bail.
In her petition for the injunction, Taft said Wall "has a very, very bad temper" that sometimes leads to him hitting walls or the coffee table.
She said, on Jan. 25, Wall tried to hit the family dog because it had eaten something off the floor. Taft said she tried to leave with the infant and her other son, but Wall blocked the doorway and threatened to kill her if she did.
Records show that Wall was released from prison in September 2008 after serving 14 years for a 1993 robbery with a deadly weapon, armed burglary and grand theft auto. He also had been arrested as a juvenile for burglary and arson.
According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Wall has multiple tattoos that include swastikas and "RAHOWA," an acronym for Racial Holy War. On his left arm is a tattoo of a "Creativity Movement" shield. The Creativity Movement is a white separatist religion founded by Ben Klassen, author of The White Man's Bible.
Reached by phone Wednesday morning, Taft's father, John Bredson, declined to comment. "It's too soon," Bredson said.

2) He is a "suspect" in the baby's death -- baby went into cardiac arrest while under Daddy's "care." (Mom wasn't home)
3) Dad "flipped off" the mother as he was driving through the church parking lot for the baby's service

Arrest report identifies father as suspect in infant's death

LARGO — Police arrested Craig Alan Wall Sr., a Clearwater man whose infant died Feb. 6, Sunday on a charge of violating a domestic violence injunction filed by the baby's mother. A report on the incident said Wall is a suspect in his son's death.
The report from Largo police said Wall, 34, was arrested around 4 p.m. about two hours after he drove through the parking lot of St. Dunstan's Anglican Church, where his son's memorial service was being held.
The infant, Craig Wall Jr., was rushed to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg on Feb. 5 after he went into cardiac arrest while in his father's care at the family's Clearwater apartment. The child's mother was not home, according to Clearwater police, who are investigating the death.
The 5-week-old baby died at the hospital the next day.
According to the Largo arrest report, the infant's mother obtained an injunction on Feb. 8 that forbade Wall Sr. from contacting her because of an investigation by Clearwater police "that (Wall Sr.) was suspected of being the one responsible for the infant's death."
Clearwater police declined to comment Tuesday on whether Wall is a suspect in his baby's death. Police spokeswoman Beth Watts said investigators are waiting for results from the medical examiner and that the investigation is "ongoing."
According to an arrest report, Wall led a friend to the church and asked the friend to videotape the service and read a statement that Wall had prepared.
The infant's mother told police that Wall "flipped her off" when he drove through the church parking lot.
In her petition for the injunction, the baby's mother, 29-year-old Laura Taft, said that Wall "has a very, very bad temper," which sometimes leads to him hitting walls or the coffee table.
Taft said, on Jan. 25, Wall tried to hit the family dog because she had eaten something off of the floor. Taft said she tried to leave the apartment with the children, but Wall blocked the doorway and threatened to kill her if she left.
Taft said she feared for her life and the life of her other son, Connor Taft, who will turn 6 on Saturday.
Wall was released from state prison in September 2008 after serving 14 years for a 1994 robbery with a deadly weapon, armed burglary and grand theft auto.
According to court documents, Wall was 18 when he barged into a St. Petersburg home in November 1993 and pointed a gun at a North Carolina couple who were in town visiting a relative. He demanded the couple's keys and stole their car.
Wall had been arrested as a juvenile for burglary and arson, according to a sentencing sheet attached to that court file.
According to the Florida Department of Corrections, Wall has multiple white supremacy tattoos, including swastikas and "RAHOWA," an acronym for Racial Holy War. On his left arm is a tattoo of a "Creativity Movement" shield. The Creativity Movement is a white separatist religion founded by Ben Klassen, author of The White Man's Bible.
Wall had already left the church when Largo police arrived Sunday afternoon. After police called him, Wall agreed to meet them at the Largo Public Library, where he was arrested. He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail and released Monday after posting $1,000 bail.
