Dad charged with raping daughter over 30 years (Santa Fe Province, Argentina)

Notice that this is the SECOND case like this to come out of Argentina in the past year. Makes you really wonder how many girls and women in this world are basically imprisoned and repeatedly raped like this woman was by her UNNAMED DAD. Especially in isolated, rural areas where it's hard to get help. Notice also that there is no mention of a mother in the home. As we know, the lack of a mother raises the likelihood of paternal sexual abuse significantly.

Argentinian incest case 'worse than Fritzl'

A 62-year-old Argentine man has been arrested for raping his daughter over a 30-year period and fathering 10 children with her.

The woman, who is now 43 years old and cannot be named, accuses her father of raping her since she was 13.

She says her 10 children were the product of this sexual abuse, all of which took place in the family home in Santa Fe Province, 600km north of the capital Buenos Aires.

The judge hearing the matter described the case as "far worse than what happened in Austria", a reference to Josef Fritzl who locked his daughter away for 24 years and fathered seven children with her.

The judge also says that while the accused is denying the charges, DNA tests prove paternity.

"The accused denied the allegations but DNA tests have confirmed paternity," Judge Virgilio Palud told local radio.

The man was charged with repeated sexual abuse and incest, crimes which carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, the judge said.

In the Argentine case, one of the 10 children born of the rapes has already died.

The victim, whose identity was not released, said she waited so long to accuse her father because he had threatened her. She got her chance when he was arrested for the theft of some livestock.

The case is the second such shocking father-daughter abuse to emerge in Argentina in as many years.

Last year, in the case of the "Monster of Mendoza" that gripped Argentina, a 67-year-old man was accused of raping and fathering seven children with one of his three daughters.

What can you say about UNNAMED DAD? I sometimes wonder how many of these cases are in the world, where the victims are effectively silenced and isolated for so many years. I fear that we only find out about a small fraction.

Incest father held for raping daughters in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Aug 20 (EFE) A 74-year-old man has been arrested on charges of raping his three daughters over a period of 17 years and also sexually abusing children he fathered with the elder daughter, the police said.

The man was arrested after his 29-year-old daughter filed a criminal complaint with police in the city of Itati.

According to her, the man started raping her since she was 12 and fathered seven children - two dauthres aged 12 and 15, and five sons, aged 9, 7, 5, 3 and one month.

She also alleged that her minor daughters were also being sexually assaulted by her father.

Two of the woman’s sisters later admitted that they too were raped by their father, who is in the custody of prosecutors.
