Dad charged in murder of 2-year-old daughter (Flint Township, Michigan)
Mom is still omitted from the story, utterly erased. Even as dad DONOVAN LAMAR HAYNES is charged with murder in the death of his 2-year-old daughter. Was this a custody/visitation situation?

FLINT TWP. -- A Flint man has been charged in the murder of his 2-year-old daughter.
Police were called to a home on the 1300 block of Donal Drive in Flint Township around 9:00 a.m. Sunday for reports that 2-year-old Tiarra Woodward was not breathing. Emergency crews also found human bite marks on her body.
Woodward was rushed to Hurley Medical Center where she died.
Wednesday, 21-year-old Donovan Lamar Haynes was charged with two counts of Homicide-Open Murder, First Degree Child Abuse, and torture. The homicide charges are each a felony, and carry a penalty of life without parole. Torture also carries a penalty of up to life in prison, and child abuse is a 15 year felony.
“This poor little girl suffered an inexcusable death,” said Prosecutor David Leyton in a written release. “I cannot imagine the fear and the agony she went through before she died. My office will do everything it can to see that justice is served and the defendant is held accountable under the law.”
