Dad not alowed contact with infant son he put in cold oven (Paducah, Kentucky)

Thank goodness a judge showed some common sense and decency for once, and ranked this baby's right to safety higher than Daddy's father's rights. Dad LARRY CHRISTOPHER LONG , who has been charged with putting his infant son in a cold oven, will still be prohibited from seeing his son while he's out on bail. Daddy and his lawyer wanted supervised visitation. Not one word about the baby's mom here or what she thinks. But that's typical, unfortunately. However, in cases like this, you have to wonder where Mom was while Dad was going through the motions of doing up Junior like a Sunday roast. Working while Daddy was "caretaking"? Was this a custody/visitation situation?

INVISIBLE MOTHER ALERT.

A western Kentucky man charged with putting his infant son in a cold oven will not be allowed any contact with the child.

According to the Paducah Sun, a judge has ruled that Larry Christopher Long will continue to be prohibited from seeing his son, Reece. Long has apparently not seen the boy in nearly a year.

Long's lawyer says she had requested Long be allowed supervised visitation while out on bail.
