Dad murders mom on Father's Day, young sons were "completely crying and totally aware of the situation" (Tyler, Texas)

This article is not terribly well written. So this woman drops of the mom, the ex-wife, outside the home (of the father? mother?) and waits for her to come back outside But while Mom was inside the house, dad THOMAS BLOW shoots her to death and then offs himself. Was this a visitation pick up/drop-off? Or just an ambush? It's not clear. At any rate, two little boys have been left motherless and thoroughly traumatized by the crime, as it appears they witnessed it. At least they were "completely crying and totally aware of the situation." More f***ing Daddy Drama. And on Father's Day no less. Nice to taint that day forever in the lives of these two boys, Dad. But it's always about Daddy and nobody else, isn't it?

Neighbor reaction to apparent murder-suicide

TYLER - Pieces of crime-scene tape were still tied to trees and porch lights still on one day after what police are calling a murder-suicide. The suspect, Thomas Blow, was a well-known attorney who attended Pleasant Retreat Church. Neighbors are in disbelief that something like this could have happened.

"This is an utter surprise and being that I live right across the street from them it comes as a complete surprise," says neighbor Shannon Johnson.

Johnson has lived across the street from blow for almost 8 years.

She says from the outside-looking-in the family seemed normal.

"They would be outside playing with the boys," she says.

Johnson says her dog must have heard the gun shots.

"I was watching TV and the dog started acting a ruckus so I went outside and I noticed the distraught female and that's when the sheriffs started showing up."

That distraught woman police say was a friend of Blow's ex-wife who dropped her off and was waiting in the drive-way for her to come out.

But that never happened. So she went inside only to find the bodies and their two young boys.

"They were in the backseat of the car right over here completely crying and totally aware of the situation," says Johnson.

She says she'll be praying for them.

"I feel very sorry for those little boys."

Boys who ironically lost a dad and a mom on Father's Day.
