Dad arrested for drug possession, endangerment after 2-year-old found wandering the streets naked (Santa Cruz, California)

Dad ANTONIO VILLA has been arrested on drug possession and child endangerment charges after his 2-year-old daughter was found wandering the neighborhood au naturel just after midnight. Police also found a 4-year-old sleeping in the home near Daddy's narcotics stash.

SANTA CRUZ - A 25-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment Monday after a neighbor found his 2-year-old daughter wandering the neighborhood naked.

The neighbor found the child walking alone and naked on Barson Street around 12:30 p.m. The neighbor gave her a blanket and called police, officers reported. Police found the girl to be a resident of a home in the 200 block of Jessie Street.

Officers took the girl back home and met the father, Antonio Villa. Police said that while they were in the home, Villa tried to hide drug paraphernalia including hypodermic syringes, spoons, baggies and suspected heroin.

A second child, age 4, was found asleep in the home near the narcotics. Villa was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. He was booked into County Jail. Child Protective Services were contacted by police.
