Teen father assaults 6-week-old son basically from birth (Wasco County, Oregon)
UNNAMED DAD has been charged with 3 counts of 1st-degree assault for injuries inflicted on his 6-week-old son. The injuries took place between January 4 and February 19, so basically this piece of sh** abused this infant from birth. Not a word on what happened to the mother. Why the constant media silence on these issues? But we are told that the baby is now in protective custody.

A 17-year-old father in The Dalles has been charged with injuring his 6-week-old son.
Kaedyn Kenneth Drake turned himself in to police Wednesday. He has been charged with three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment, criminal nonsupport and strangulation.
The indictment said the incidents occurred between Jan. 4 and Feb.19, 2010.
Arraignment was scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday.
The Wasco County District Attorney’s office said the child had been placed in protective custody.
“ The child is very safe and will be protected,” said District Attorney Eric Nisley Thursday morning. “Our first job is to protect this kid.”
Nisley said the defendant had cooperated with police, did not resist arrest, and turned himself in.
Under Measure 11 guidelines, first-degree assault is a Class A felony, and carries a mandatory minimum 90–month sentence. First-degree criminal mistreatment and criminal nonsupport are Class C felonies, and strangulation is a Class A misdemeanor.
Under those same guidelines, felonies committed by juveniles age 15 or older are tried as adult cases.
