12-year-old son protects mother from dad's attack (Santa Teresa, New Mexico)

Dad RICARDO A. GUTIERREZ is charged with battery in an assault on his wife. Their 12-year-old son bravely protected his mother, and kept the intoxicated father from strangling her. The three other traumatized children were hiding. Children need this just to say they have a "father" in their lives?

Note that this @$$hole was booked on only a $4,000 bond.
