Conn. father charged with killing daughter

GREENWICH (AP) — A live-in landscaper for a prominent hedge fund chief executive has been charged with murder after police said the landscaper stabbed his daughter to death Wednesday night in their Greenwich home.

The slaying occurred at 7:30 p.m. in what police are describing as a murder-suicide plot. Fifty-five-year-old Adam Dobrzanski was charged with the murder after he was treated and released from Stamford Hospital for self-inflicted stab wounds.

Police said Adam Dobrzanski was found in the mansion with multiple self-inflicted stab wounds to his body. His 20-year-old daughter, Amanda Dobrzanski, was found in a locked bedroom with fatal knife wounds. Police said her throat had been slashed.
