Update: Dad had demanded "access to his children" one day before stabbing ex-wife, 2-year-old child (Adelaide, Australia)

Dad MINH LY TRAN has pleaded guilty to the stabbing death of his ex-wife and her 2-year-old child. It appears that this whack-job also contacted Families SA JUST ONE DAY BEFORE THE MURDERS demanding "access to his children." Once again, we see how abusers and killers see "access" as some god-given entitlement, and that murder (at least in their eyes) is perfectly justified if nobody caves in to their demands at that precise instant. Also note that Mom had taken out a DV restraining order, which was obviously ignored. See the post immediately below this one for additional information.

Court told ex-wife, child killed with blade

A man who murdered his ex-wife and her young child at Angle Park in Adelaide used a screwdriver with a blade attached, the Supreme Court has been told.

Han Trac Nguyen, 40, and her son Dominic Vu were stabbed to death at their house in March.
Her former husband, Minh Ly Tran, 49, of Woodville North pleaded guilty to murder.

The court heard Ms Nguyen had taken out a domestic violence restraining order on Tran, who was the father of her other two children.

Tran's lawyer said his client came to Australia as a refugee after surviving the Vietnam war and worked hard to buy a house.

He said his client was shattered by the break-up of his marriage and the financial effects.

The court heard Tran had contacted Families SA the day before the murder demanding access to his children.
