Dad KEITH EVRIDGE has been charged with arson and attempted murder after he allegedly set fire to his house with his wife, daughters, and four others still inside.

Oldham man charged in arson, attempted murder case

A Westport man has been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder after allegedly setting fire to his home Saturday night while his wife, daughter and four others were in the house, Oldham County Police said.

Keith Evridge, 36, also has been charged with arson in the first degree, two counts of assault in the fourth degree, intimidating someone in a legal process and resisting arrest, police said.

The fire happened around 6:20 p.m. at the 6000 block of Washington Street. Everyone in the house, including two children, escaped without injury, police said.

Police are still investigating the case.
