Dad accused of killing 3-month-old daughter heading to court (Madison County, Kentucky)

Dad PAUL FARTHING JR. is charged with killing his infant daughter who died from traumatic head injuries. Daddy said he "accidentally" hit her head while giving her a bath, then forgot to tell the police that he "shook" her because she had "water in her face"(?) and was choking.

So Daddy wants us to believe that he managed to inflict fatal head trauma on a 3-month-old baby because he panicked when he found that she had a little water on her face? Suspend your disbelief for a moment. If this is true, this should tell you something about male caretakers with too much upper body strength and not much sense.

INVISIBLE MOTHER ALERT: And while Daddy was managing to totally f*** up a routine infant bath, where is Mom? Working?

Man Accused Of Killing Baby Daughter Heading To Court

A Madison County man charged with killing his infant daughter will appear in court Thursday.

The court indicted Paul Farthing Jr. in June. Police say the 30-year-old killed his 3-month-old little girl in April. Rylee Jean Campbell died from head injuries, and authorities say they believe it was due to being shaken.

LEX 18 spoke with Farthing's father after it happened. He says it was an accident - that Farthing dropped the child while giving her a bath in the sink. He says Campbell hit her head on the faucet and Paul Jr. took her to the hospital where she died three days later. But Paul Sr. says his son left out an important detail when he talked to police. He says Paul Jr. thought the child had water in her face and that she was choking, so he shook her.

Marion Farthing stands by his brother.

"I asked him, I said well brother, did you lose your cool, or did something happen? And he was like, 'No.'" Paul Sr.'s other son says a C-T scan showed serious trauma to the little girl's head, consistent with being shaken.

Farthing's arraignment is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
