Dad strangles to death young sons, ages 1 and 7 (Montreal, Canada)
Little detail here. Police say UNNAMED DAD strangled to death his young sons, ages 1 and 7, before offing himself. The murders took place over the weekend while Mom was "staying elsewhere." Is this a visitation situation? Possibly. But the media seems reluctant to call it out as one.

Double-murder suicide leaves man, two young sons dead
July 25, 2010
MONTREAL - Montreal police say a 72-year-old man killed his two young sons, ages one and seven, before taking his own life this weekend.
Calling the horrific crime a double-murder suicide, police said Saturday that the two boys died of ``strangulation, most likely.'' The man also died of strangulation, said Const. Yannick Ouimet.
The boys' 33-year-old mother, who was staying elsewhere Friday night, came to the apartment in the city's southwest just after 1 a.m. and found the bodies. A 911 call was placed at 1:45 a.m. local time.
Screaming and in tears, the woman was later seen being escorted from the apartment building, supported by a police officer and ambulance technician. She was treated at hospital for shock, authorities said.
``The mother showed up and everything had already taken place. The bodies were dead on the spot. She couldn't do anything to save them,'' said Ouimet.
Investigators were expected to be at the scene for several hours Saturday.
Police did not reveal the motive for the crime.
