Dad to go on trial for murder of mom; 5-year-old son may testify (Boston, Massachusetts)
Dad JEFFREY MCGEE is going to trial for the stabbing death of his "estranged" wife, who had left him just a few weeks before. Leaving an abuser is typically the most dangerous time there is for victims of domestic violence, as this case shows. It also appears that this sh** stabbed her to death in front of her traumatized little son too. As if you could make this dad even more callous than he apparently is.

BOSTON -- Prosecutors are planning to ask a state judge if a 5-year-old who allegedly witnessed his father kill his mother can testify in the father's upcoming murder trial.
Jeffrey McGee is charged with stabbing his estranged wife, Christine Ayotte McGee, 31, to death in his Chelmsford apartment more than a year ago.
His trial is set to start in Middlesex Superior Court on Tuesday, the Lowell Sun reported.
McGee has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and reckless endangerment of a child.
McGee was arrested after he crashed his car head-on into a truck in Methuen a short time later with his son in the back seat.
Police at the scene asked for a wellness check on the child's mother and found her wrapped in a comforter dead on a couch in McGee's apartment. The couple had been separated for a few weeks before the slaying.
She had four knife wounds to the side of her neck. When questioned later the child said, "Daddy made Mommy dead."
