Dad shoots 4-year-old son in the face with flare gun (Peoria, Arizona)

Another clueless dumbf--- UNNAMED DAD who POINTS a flare gun at a 4-year-old boy while "playing," and then "accidentally" pulls the trigger and shoots the boy in the face. The boy actually got a "light skull fracture" from Daddy's "accident," not to mention a bunch of facial cuts.

Why are these kinds of incidences always assumed to be accidents? We hear them dismissed as accidents (for which, of course, Dad will not be held accountable) before there is any investigation whatsoever. Interesting....

PEORIA, AZ -- Police say a 4-year-old boy was injured last week when his father accidentally shot him in the face with a flare gun.

According to Peoria police spokesman Jay Davies, the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on February 20 at a home near Lake Pleasant Road and Westwing Parkway.

Davies said the father, 36, was in the garage with his two children, a 3-year-old girl and 4-year-old son, who were playing with toy guns.

Police say the father picked up the flare gun, pointed it at the boy and pulled the trigger.

Davies said the boy had cuts to his nose and forehead and a light skull fracture.

The child was transported to a Valley hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
