SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah police officer who killed his wife, their two children, his mother-in-law and then himself received text messages from his wife just hours earlier threatening to leave him and take their kids and confronting him for raping her, new documents show.

A Spanish Fork Police report shows Joshua Boren and his wife exchanged heated texts the night and morning before the January killings.

In them, Kelly Boren confronted her husband about raping her and told him their marriage was over, The Deseret News reported (http://bit.ly/1oC8lWG ). The couple already had been separated for some time.

Joshua Boren's therapist told authorities that Boren drugged his wife and videotaped himself sexually assaulting her on more than one occasion.

Kelly Boren learned of the assaults when she discovered the tapes in 2013, said Spanish Fork Police Lt. Matt Johnson. She told a few friends, but she did not report the assaults to police because she didn't want to ruin her husband's law enforcement career, the report says.

The night before she was killed, Kelly Boren brought up the alleged sexual assault again, texting the word "rape" to her husband four times, the documents show. "I hate my life because (of) you," she texted. "You killed a part of me."

She wrote in another text: "I don't want to live in fear and hate and anger."

The next morning, Kelly Boren told her husband she would take the kids, prompting Joshua Boren to reply by text: "Don't involve the kids, they are innocent."

The police report says Joshua Boren was sexually abused as a child, struggled with drug addiction as a young man and pornography addiction throughout his life, and had a deep-rooted hatred for his mother.

After his father committed suicide when he was 5, Joshua Boren's mother began using drugs and seeing several men, the report states. One of those men allegedly abused Joshua Boren, and he blamed his mother for not protecting him, his sister told police.

The therapist told police Boren was like a "3-year-old boy stuck in a big man's body."

"Josh was a very troubled individual that felt like he was about to lose his wife and children," police wrote in the report.

Joshua Boren had worked for the Lindon Police Department for only three months when the murder-suicide occurred. Before that, he was a Utah County sheriff's deputy for seven years, Johnson said.

He used the service weapon he was given for his duties as a Lindon police officer when he killed his family members and himself, authorities said. Toxicology reports from the autopsy show he had no drugs or alcohol in his system.

Police said the state medical examiner confirmed what investigators believed: Joshua Boren shot his wife, 32-year-old Kelly Boren; his 55-year-old mother-in-law, Marie King; and his two children, 7-year-old Joshua "Jaden" and 5-year-old Haley, before killing himself.

The shooting happened at the family's home in Spanish Fork, a city of about 37,000 located 50 miles south of Salt Lake City. The events stunned the community, as well as friends and family, said Johnson, who added investigators didn't find anybody who suspected Joshua Boren was capable of such an act.

Though Joshua Boren wasn't living at the house, friends and family said he still came every morning to get the kids ready for school and preschool, Johnson said. He also picked them up every afternoon.

"He was praised as being an excellent father," Johnson said.

Notice that there is NO MENTION of a mother here, either in the home or elsewhere. So what's the deal? Unless Mom is deceased, Daddy must have some kind of custody/visitation deal--and that's assuming this sicko piece of crap didn't have full custody. But notice that nobody here wants to look at how or why Daddy had access to this child and who gave it to him. And it's virtually certain that this POS has abused the girl before.

Anthony Brinkman Wanted To Watch His 11-Year-Old Daughter Get Beaten, Raped By Stranger: Cops

A Missouri man accused of planning for his daughter to be beaten and raped was swiftly arrested by police last Friday.

Anthony Brinkman, 32, allegedly placed an ad online looking for someone to beat and rape his 11-year-old daughter while he watched, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

What Brinkman didn't count on was an undercover officer responding to the request. Officer Randy Vaughn, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department, said the undercover officer agreed to meet the suspect at a predetermined location, KMOV reported.

Brinkman then took his 11-year-old daughter 80 miles away from their home in Cuba, Mo. to St. Louis. He thought he was meeting a woman interested in sexually assaulting the girl with sex toys, according to KSDK. When he pulled into the meeting spot -- a local Cracker Barrel -- he was immediately taken into custody.

According to the Examiner, Brinkman admitted to police that he placed the ad and that he could "perhaps" be in possession of child pornography.

“It’s just a lot of talk for most of these guys, but this guy actually brought [the girl] to the scene to go ahead with the next step of enacting it,” said Detective Mike Slaughter, who handcuffed Brinkman. "If we hadn’t gotten involved and someone bad had gotten in touch with him, something bad would have happened to that little girl."

Slaughter said Brinkman sent undercover officers pictures of the girl and posted them online.

On his Facebook page, Brinkman mentioned looking for a female roommate despite having a girlfriend at the time. When asked why, the suspect wrote (with errors):

"No, i have a gf. But ud be nuts if ud move a guy in and him being alone with your 11 year old while your at work . I dont take risks like that dummy."

Police have seized Brinkman’s computers and are awaiting the results of a forensic analysis.

“He said he was sorry and that he was stupid,” Slaughter said. “But you don’t let it go that far if you don’t have intentions.”

Brinkman is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond on a charge of attempted statutory sodomy. Prosecutors said they will present to a grand jury additional charges of sex trafficking a minor.

A letter from a father to the newsroom asking for help in contacting his daughter comes with a dark twist.

That’s because this wasn’t your typical father and this wasn’t your typical father-daughter relationship.

The writer was Alton E. Smith, who lived in Palm Coast before his arrest and subsequent guilty pleas in 2010 to two counts of incest, one count of living off the earnings of prostitution and 52 counts of possession of child pornography. As part of the plea agreement, Smith also pleaded guilty in Volusia County to another charge of incest and lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a minor younger than 16.

Smith fathered his daughter’s son.

Now-retired Circuit Judge Kim C. Hammond sentenced Smith to 15 years in prison followed by 15 years sex offender probation. And once Smith is released from prison he must register as a sex offender.

The sordid situation came to light after a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office detective in 2008 knocked on the door of a house on Carlos Court pretending to answer a Craigslist ad for an escort. Besides having sex with her, Alton Smith was pimping his daughter.

Now, Alton Smith wants to reconnect with his daughter. He also wants a lawyer because , a good one he says, because he wants to sue Flagler County and the judge.

He claims to be dying from the ravages of hepatitis. His biological decay perhaps matching his morality. He said that at 50 he is t0o young too die. He said what went on between him and his daughter was their bond.

“So please Dont Judge us for what happen. This goes on more then people want to know. We new a lot of people who are doing what we were Doing you will never know unless your one of us! We All Have The same Feelings That people wish They had our love Was True Love!”

A MAN who posted photos of his own daughter on a Russian pedophilia website has been jailed - after her photos were viewed by more than 200,000 people.

Ipswich District Court heard the 50-year-old was a member of the child exploitation website, going under the username "Tempted", and encouraged other men to comment on pictures of his daughter and her friends.

He shared up to 50 photos of his child and others online, publishing her full name, as well as that of two of her friends.

The defendant accessed the site an average of three times a week over 19 months.

He said he was attracted to the girls' "innocence", but his desires "underpinned a much more sinister intention", the court heard. He uploaded secretly-taken photos of his teenage daughter in the shower, as well as other suggestive pictures of two of her friends.

When police from Taskforce Argos raided his home in February this year, he was found to have 50 indecent photos on his computer, including images of girls being violently raped.

The court heard that the man's wife has remained with him, and the daughter has been allowed to live at home despite the police investigation. The Department of Child Safety said it was not necessary to investigate further or intervene in the case.

In court the photos were described as "sick".

Judge Sarah Bradley said it was "inevitable there were still photos out there" of the man's daughter, because in cyberspace it was hard to delete images.

She said his actions were "abhorrent and horrific".

The father was sentenced to 18 months' prison, but will be released in six months on a $500 good behaviour bond for three years. He will also be placed on probation.
