Lexington father heads for court on charges he abused infant sons

A 24-year-old Lexington man is scheduled for arraignment Monday in Fayette District Court for allegedly physically abusing his two infant sons.
Jaron Hamilton is charged with three counts of first-degree criminal abuse of a child under age 12, according to court records.
First-degree criminal abuse is a Class C felony under Kentucky law, punishable by five to 10 years in prison.
Lexington police say that Hamilton "intentionally caused physical injury" to one of his 3-month-old sons on two occasions. He's accused of intentionally causing injury to the other 3-month-old at least once, according to a citation filed with the district court.
