Pothead dad abuses 4-month-old daughter while mom works (Spokane, Washington)
Once again, we have a useless pothead father who was doing infant "care" while Mom was forced to work. Something not many young, testosterone-fueled young men are prepared to do. Certainly dad JOSHUA GILLIS wasn't.

SPOKANE-- Neighbors tell KREM 2 News they could hear the young father accused of first degree child abuse, yelling at his four month old baby.
The infant is in protective custody after her parents took her to the hospital for her injuries on January 6th.
The search warrant lists rib fractures, multiple skull fractures, a broken shoulder and arm, and bruising on the baby’s head and body.
KREM 2's Katie Utehs spoke with neighbors who are filled with guilt, that they didn't do more to stop the abuse.
Police say 21-year-old Ashley Huston, 22-year-old Joshua Gillis and their four month old daughter Gracie Gillis live at a north Spokane apartment complex.
Court records say the parents took Gracie to the hospital when Huston came home from work and noticed that Gracie’s right arm was limp and did not appear to be working. Neighbors are now filled with guilt after learning of the infants extensive injuries.
Police say Gillis left the hospital before police arrived.
Huston told police she believed that Gracie bruised easily and was possibly anemic.
Neighbors say Gillis has returned to the apartment.
A neighbor told KREM 2 that the walls in the building are thin. He described the alleged child abuse saying, “the baby would be crying for a while and he would lose his temper and start screaming."
Police also pulled nine marijuana plants from the home.
As of Wednesday, no arrests had been made.
