Update on baby who died while in the "custody of her father" (Edgewood, Maryland)

Well, a little rummaging around through the Harford County, Maryland judicial records has revealed a lot. And it's not looking pretty for Dad KEATON IRONS, who is accused of murdering his 1-year-old daughter, apparently during visitation. It would be nice if reporters looked this information up, so they could tell the whole truth about these cases. Check it out yourself:

I cannot locate any custody information regarding the deceased 1-year-old daughter. Perhaps the case was filed somewhere other than Harford County, Maryland.

However, just within Harford County, we see that Dad was awarded "reasonable rights of visitation" with his 3-year-old son just last year (5/2009) after the boy's mother filed a paternity suit (3/2009). However, it took just three months before Dad was behind in his child support and a collection notice was filed (8/2009). Two months later, a petition for contempt was filed (10/2009). And it appears that these issues weren't officially "closed" until JUST BEFORE THE MURDER (5/2010). Is there a connection here? Perhaps a little resentment? Maybe this needs to be investigated further as contributing factor to the little girl's death.

And let's take another look at the father who was awarded "reasonable visitation" of a 3-year-old child. Note that the court granted him visitation DESPITE a criminal history including theft (11/2008), 2nd-degree assault and trespassing (6/2005), and malicious destruction of property (10/2004).

How interesting, since increasing number of mothers are denied visitation all together for such "crimes" as "alienation" (which in reality, is a nothing more than a hazy, fabricated accusation at BEST.) These mothers are basically being found guilty (without jury trial) of thought crimes, like being "negative" or "possibly being negative in the future." Pretty similar to the Moscow purge trials of the 1930s, when Josef Stalin started liquidating his political rivals. Kind of reminds me of Nikolai Bukarin, who finally pleaded guilty (under torture) to the "sum total of crimes," of being "politically responsible" for everything, while not being guilty of any particular crime (for which there was no credible evidence anyway).

And yet while these mothers lose their parental rights, a father who quite literally kicked somebody's @$$ gets child visitation with no problem. What's wrong with this picture?
