Dad punches 4-year-old son for cutting his own hair (Gallatin, Texas)
Dad KEITH BRYAN LINK has been charged with child abuse for punching his 4-year-old son in the face--all because his son cut his own hair. So Daddy didn't think that haircut was flattering or what?
I was infamous for doing this stuff as a kid. I have a photograph of my sister and me taken in the early '60s at Christmas. Like a lot of little girls from that time period, we're decked out in our finest, with mary jane shoes and red velveteen dresses with poofy skirts (any of you older ladies still remember those big scratchy petticoats?). And to top it all of were our glorious hairdos--or what was left of them after I took my mother's sewing shears and shopped off nearly all our hair. We looked like plucked chickens--or the prototype of punk rockers, depending on your aesthetic sensibilities.
