Custodial dad sentenced to 15 years for raping daughter (Fort Wayne, Indiana)

If you read this account carefully, you will see that UNNAMED DAD was in fact custodial, and that at minimum, he had physical custody of this girl on weekdays. Why? In addition, it appears that this pedophile also had custody of his daughter with the stepmother. Something very sick is under the surface here in Fort Wayne. What authorities allowed this pervert to have custody?

Man sentenced to 15 years for incest
He forced daughter to have sex with him and fathered a child.

A Fort Wayne man who forced his daughter to have sex with him for years – ultimately producing a child – was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thursday.

The 42-year-old man, whom The News-Sentinel is not naming because it would identify his daughter, was sentenced by Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull to 15 years on a Class B incest charge and four years each on two other Class C incest counts, in line with an April 20 plea deal. They all will be served at the same time, Gull ordered.

The man will also serve four years of probation upon his release. Gull issued a no-contact order, as well.

That order, though usually protocol in such cases, was actually requested by the girl, who deputy prosecutor Stacey Speith said also played a role in authoring the plea deal itself.

Fort Wayne Police became aware of the incest, which reportedly lasted five years, after the girl's boyfriend reported to her mother the man had taught the girl to French kiss, according to the man's probable-cause affidavit. When the girl's mother questioned her, the girl said her father had forced her into sex over several years and that he had fathered her 1-year-old son, the affidavit said.

The mother called police, who went with the Department of Child Services to the man's home. Case workers removed the girl, her son and the girl's half sister and placed them in foster care, the affidavit said.

While in foster care, the girl told police the sexual contact began when she was 14, after her stepmother separated from her father and moved out, the affidavit said.

The girl told police her father touched her genitals, the affidavit said, and said that she told her father “what he did was weird,” to which the man reportedly responded, “she would get used to it,” the affidavit said.

The girl said her father then began having sex with her and told her to indicate to him when she wanted him to stop, the affidavit said. The man refused, however, when she did, according to records.

The girl told police her father would have sex with her two or three times a week, primarily after the girl's half sister left for school, and never wear a condom, the affidavit said.

The girl said her father made threats to kill her, her son, her boyfriend and himself if she ever reported the incidents, the affidavit said.

Thursday, the man told Gull that he was remorseful for the incest.

“It won't happen again,” the man told Gull. “I want to get counseling.”
