Dad jailed for abusing 4-month-old son (Nassau County, Florida)
Dad ANDREW STEPHEN GMELIN II has been charged with 1st-degree aggravated child abuse for violently shaking his 4-month-old son.

A Nassau County man is behind bars after authorities say he abused his infant son.
Andrew Stephen Gmelin II, 27, is in the Nassau County detention center charged with first-degree aggravated child abuse, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives arrested Gmelin on Friday after pediatricians determined his 4-month-old son was suffering from shaken-baby syndrome, a term used to describe the results of violent shaking of an infant or small child damaging the head.
The baby is recovering at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
