ARLINGTON — Arlington police have arrested the father of a four-month-old boy who died at a Fort Worth hospital Wednesday night.
Jason Antoine Farrington, 25, is charged with injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury, which is a first degree felony.
Police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard said officers were summoned to an apartment in the 1500 block of Stoneleigh Court around noon Wednesday after receiving a report about a child who was not breathing.
Paramedics stablized Jayden Farrington and rushed him to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, where the child died about eight hours later.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office has not yet released information about what caused Jayden's death.
Richard said police had already been investigating a March 25 incident in which Jayden had suffered two skull fractures.
Child Protective Services is also involved in the investigation.
