Dad convicted of aggravated manslaughter in death of 8-week-old son (Sanford, Florida)

These dads who kill their babies always seem to get off with reduced charges and sentences--assuming they are every charged and convicted to start with.

More proof that the legal system considers women and children "lesser than."

Seminole County man sentenced to 20 years for shaking baby to death

SANFORD – A judge on Tuesday sentenced a Seminole County man to 20 years in prison for shaking his 8-week-old son to death.

Tiny Eli Heath was found limp and not breathing July 11, 2013, and was rushed to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with head and neck injuries, according to authorities.

He died there seven days later. His father, Joshua Stuart, 27, was charged with first-degree murder, but on Oct. 30, pleaded no contest to a lesser charge - aggravated manslaughter.

On Tuesday, Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
