CAPE TOWN – An anti-child abuse NGO in Cape Town says it is horrific that violence against children at the hands of their parents continue to take place.
A Plettenberg Bay father will remain behind bars after he allegedly stabbed and killed his 18-month-old daughter last weekend.
The 25-year-old man is believed to have argued with his girlfriend when he pulled out a knife and stabbed the child.
Matla a Bana’s Monique Strydom said, “It’s a terrible case and there is no excuse because he intended to harm the child, he is supposed to protect the child.”
