For Mom to have had custody, Dad must have had a pretty bad record. Otherwise, he would had joint custody--like nearly all abuser dads these days. So don't tell me dad VICTOR CABRERA-ZAMORA was after quality time when he assaulted the custodial mom in his attempt to take the baby away from her (abduct the child). Of course, the @$$ also managed to injure the baby. Not that this type really cares. It's all power and control and hurt the mom in any way you can.

AVON LAKE— An Avon Lake father is under arrest, after his son was injured during a disturbance in the family home.
According to police, the child's mother called for help, after the father, 23-year-old Victor Cabrera-Zamora, came to the house on Vinewood Drive. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the mother and father at the front door, and another female inside holding a two-month-old male baby that was bleeding from the head area.
Investigators say the father came to the address, to visit the baby and retrieve a document. According to police, the father indicated that he was going to take the baby from the residence. The mother, who is the custodial parent, told the father that he was not leaving with the child.
Police say the father then assaulted the mother while holding the child. During the altercation, Cabrera-Zamora attempted to leave the house down some stairs, and fell against the piano while holding the baby.
The baby struck it's head on the piano causing the head injury.
The baby and mother were transported to Fairview Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The baby was later transferred to Rainbow Children's Hospital for further treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Cabrera-Zamora was taken into custody, and it was learned that he had an AK-47 assault rifle inside his vehicle.
He's been charged with abduction, felonious assault, 2 counts of domestic violence, and improperly handling of firearms in a vehicle, and is being held without bond.
Cabrera-Zamora is also suspected of being in the United States illegally and an investigation into his citizenship status is continuing.
