Police arrested a father Monday for the death of his two-month-old baby. The arrest comes after a four-month investigation.
Police tell us that the arrest came as a surprise to 19-year-old Jujuan Brady. Police say he has remained a main suspect since Ashley Brady's death in December.
CBS 21 has video of the father in cuffs Monday before being hauled away by city cops. Detectives arrested the teen dad earlier Monday morning following months of investigating.
The affidavit paints a disturbing crime where the tiny two-month-old suffered multiple traumatic injuries including fresh hand impressions on her lung and liver, not associated with CPR.
The 911 call came from a home in the 300 block of North Second Street in late December for a baby that stopped breathing.
Crews took baby Ashley to Harrisburg Hospital where she was pronounced dead hours later. Police now say the baby had actually been dead for several hours before the 911 call.
Police say the teen admitted to the abuse. Jujuan now faces charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
