Seems like I'm seeing a lot more cases like this involving custodial dads, though, of course MARSHALL MICHAELS is not specifically identified as one. But obviously he is. You don't manage to starve a normal 13-year-old boy down to 40 pounds through weekend visitation. So what happened to this boy's mother? As usual, she's erased from the story entirely. We have no idea whether she's even alive. Or if she's deceased, whether we know for a fact that she died of natural causes. With sicko torture daddies like this, we must ALWAYS ask what happened to the mother, as it's very likely she was a target of some sort as well.

Emaciated Teen Found Locked In Bathroom; Pair ArrestedPolice: 2 Confess To Malicious Punishment

TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- A man and woman were arrested Thursday after admitting they locked up a teenage boy and denied him food and care as punishment, according to Titusville Police Department officers.
Marshall Michaels, the child's father, and his live-in girlfriend, Sharon Glass, face three counts of aggravated child abuse.
Investigators said they visited the pair's Barna Avenue home after a report about a child being unlawfully caged and abused. Responding officers found a boy, who is approximately 13 years old, lying on the floor of a locked bathroom. He weighed just 40 pounds.
The child, according to a police department news release, was often locked in the bathroom or closet, or strapped to a bed, for days or weeks at a time over the past year.
The boy was taken to a hospital and treated for malnutrition and dehydration. Police officers said that hospital employee's described the boy's emaciated appearance as one that resembles "images of concentration camp survivors."
Four other children were living in the home with Michaels and Glass, according to investigators. Detectives did not comment on the other children's conditions in the news release.
Officers said Michaels and Glass confessed to locking the boy up and denying him food. They said the punishment was more severe because the boy tried to "steal" food after it was withheld.
The boy was treated and released from the hospital. All of the children have been removed from the home.
