Dad charged with 2nd-degree murder in death of 1-year-old son; Fox "forgets" that crime took place during criminal dad's overnight visitation (Shreveport, Louisiana)

We've reported on this case before, when it was still in the investigation stage. Now dad RODRICUS CRAWFORD has been arrested on 2nd-degree murder charges in the death of his 1-year-old son. What Fox is "forgetting" to tell you here, is that this murder took place during Daddy's overnight visitation. Why a father with outstanding drug warrants had any custodial rights at all is not explained or questioned in the slightest. Generally speaking, it's the triumph of fathers rights--criminal daddies have all the rights, mothers and children have none. But given Fox's conservative, anti-mother bent, we don't really want to go into that, do we?

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police in Shreveport say a man has been booked with second-degree murder in connection with the death of his 1-year-old son.

Authorities have been investigating the death of Roderius Lott since Feb. 16, when authorities found the child unconscious. Officials have not released a cause of death.

The child's father, 23-year-old Rodricus Crawford, was booked later on outstanding drug warrants. He was already in jail when Thursday's second-degree murder warrant was issued.

A Shreveport police news release says Crawford's bond on the new charge at the Caddo Correctional Center is $300,000.

It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney who could comment on the case.
