Why is this monster being shown such leniency? Dad TYREECE TRIPLET has been convicted of killing his infant daughter, basically by bashing her skull. And yet all we hear is how Daddy feels sorry for himself. Not one damn word of apology, but he wants to get back together with Mom. That is ENTITLEMENT, folks.

The judge sentenced Triplett to six years in prison and three years extended supervision. He's charged with killing his five month old daughter last November. Triplett and family members spoke out in court about the death and their grief.
Tyreece Triplett entered the court room Thursday afternoon to find out his fate.
"When I found out Stella passed away I cried a lot. I didn't know what to do and I didn't talk to anyone about how I felt," says Triplett.
He didn't apologize but says he wants to start his life over again with his girlfriend, the baby's mother and his other child when he's out of prison. Stella's mother spent most of the sentencing with her head under a coat and crying. Her baby's grandfather and aunt spoke out at the sentencing.
"The worst thing you ever did was hurt them and murder your own child. It didn't have to happen like this you and Molly know how many of us would have been there. I would have been the first with both my hands raised," said Randi Campbell to the court.
The judge sentenced Triplett to a total of nine years. Investigators say he threw Stella in her crib then shook the crib because the child was fussing. A medical examiner says the five-month-old died from traumatic head injuries including several skull fractures.
"Being a parent is serious business and for people to frivolously want to undertake that responsibility to me is a sad thing because there are frustrations connected to being a parent," says Eau Claire County District Attorney, Rich White.
He says nothing will bring the little girl back but says there's a need for justice in the case.
"I think it's safe to say the loss of life in this case has to carry a fairly significant penalty," says White.
Triplett's defense attorney didn't want to speak after court.
