Our media euphemism for the day: things "got physical" between dad ABINESH KUMAR and the mother of their children. That's the nice way of saying he beat her up. So much so that he blackened her eyes. But no matter. This violent father (now indicted for murdering his 2-month-old son) "loved his kids." He "cared for his kids." Or so the clueless enablers tell us anyway.
Can't we get through a single day without some idiot babbling in the newspaper about how "loving" or "nice" a baby killing father was? Can't we just admit that these men are useless, bloody criminals for once?

MODESTO—
A Modesto father is accused of killing his 2-month-old baby boy. Abinesh Kumar, was arrested for murder after family members were interviewed and an autopsy showed that injuries were non-accidental.
Emergency crews were called to a Modesto home around 1 a.m. Thursday because the baby was not breathing. Paramedics found the 2-month-old boy was not responding, and he was declared dead at the home.
Neighbors said Kumar lived in his parent's Kingsbury Avenue home with his wife, one year old child and the infant. Family friend Vino Naidu came by the house after hearing of the arrest.
"Yeah, I'm suprised," he told Fox40. "He's a very nice kid," referring to Kumar.
Neighbor and family friend Basil Guruwaiya is giving Kumar the benefit of the doubt.
"I know he cared for his kids no matter what they say happened. He loved his kids," said Guruwaiya. He went so far as to say it might have been an accident.
"He must have panicked and shake the baby to wake him up to see why he's not breathing," said Guruwaiya.
But other neighbors say police visited the home before, as recently as Sunday after reports of loud arguing. They say Kumar and his wife constantly argued and it sometimes got physical.
"...in front of people...people were saying don't do that to her, the other neighbors," said neighbor Lisa Guerrero.
"To me it wouldn't have happened so many times if he was such a good...guy," she added.
Another neighbor said the wife often went to her home for refuge after her eyes were blackened by Kumar. Others say he drank heavily. Kumar faces one count of murder.
Kumar’s other child, a one-year-old boy, was placed in protective custody.
