Why do reporters do this? We're told the little girl was taken to the hospital by "other family members," but there is no indication as to who those family members were. If if was the mother, than why not say so? And if no mother was in this home, why not say so plainly? In which case, it might be helpful to explain WHY no mother was in this home. Why all the obfuscation? At any rate, daddy DARRELL HUFF has now been arrested. And we have no idea how his 4-year-old daughter got access to his morphine....

FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. - A father has been arrested in the overdose death of his four-year-old daughter.
The TBI arrested 49-year-old Darrell Huff on Thursday.
Huff was indicted by a Fentress County Grand Jury on murder, child abuse, and child neglect charges.
On Christmas Eve, 4-year-old Brittany Huff was taken to the hospital by family members. She died at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
An autopsy revealed that she died of a morphine overdose. Investigators said the morphine belonged to her father.
Huff was booked into the Fentress County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
