This is becoming a standard issue child abuse case in these days of "stay-at-home" dads. Dad ANDREW S. ROSS was doing the "caretaking" of two young children while Mom had to work. Result: A 3-year-old girl hospitalized with multiple injuries, and a dad charged with felony child abuse. Can't help but wonder if his drug issues made him unemployable....

Father accused of felony child abuse
Faith Regional Health Services staff notified police about a possible child abuse after a woman brought her 3-year-old girl to the hospital with injuries.
The child had marks on her nose, face and neck area, said Capt. Leon Chapman of the Norfolk Police Division.
The father of the child, 23-year-old Andrew S. Ross, had been taking care of his children, ages 5 and 3, while the mother was working.
On Wednesday, Norfolk police arrested Ross on a Hall County warrant for failure to pay costs on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge.
He was transported to the Norfolk jail.
Following further investigation, Ross was also arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse. Ross was transported to the Madison County jail early Thanksgiving Day.
