Repeat after me. CPS can do no wrong. CPS never makes mistakes....
Still having problems with that? Let's serve the Koolaid then. After you're "refreshed," we'll try again.
Honestly, you know CPS would have just a little bit more credibility if just OCCASIONALLY somebody at CPS was found at fault. I'm not surprised at all that "nobody" is at fault in the case involving custodial dad SALVATORE FLORES and the death of his daughter. Some how, all the problems were presumably the fault of her mother--though the girl was no longer was with her mother. Even though this girl's death occurred after Dad was awarded "full custody." Riiight.
But even in the case involving Michigan custodial dad JOE GALVAN (who has now been convicted of torture and murder in the death of his daughter), "they" found no fault with CPS. Or they've (conveniently) sealed the records. What a complete and total joke. Even the mainstream press wasn't buying it. See our posts here:

Child Protective Services did job properly

Holland, MI — Child Protective Services did its job properly when it investigated the home life of a 10-year-old Zeeland girl who later died suspiciously, an official for a children’s welfare accountability group said Wednesday.
Following the death of Sandra Flores in August, the state Office of Children’s Ombudsman opened its own investigation to determine whether Ottawa County’s CPS properly responded to allegations before her death that the girl was being abused.
“We looked into the actions of Ottawa County and, although we did find some issues of non-compliance, none of them had any effect on the case regarding Sandra,” said Charlotte Smith, supervisor for the Ombudsman. “They are totally separate from the circumstances surrounding her death.” Smith said she could not disclose what the non-compliance issues were.
That state investigation has now been closed, Smith said. Her agency investigates citizen complaints about children involved with protective services, foster care, adoption agencies and juvenile justice.
Flores died at Holland Hospital on Aug. 5. She’d been taken there by her father and stepmother after reportedly convulsing.
Emergency room staff noted bruising on her body and alerted police. The death was ruled suspicious, but the case remains open by the Zeeland Police Department. An autopsy was inconclusive as to what caused her death.
Court records show that in 2008 and 2009, Flores bounced back and forth from living with her mother to her father. CPS was involved during this time.
She was placed in her father’s custody after her mother allegedly failed to protect her from physical and sexual abuse. After a few months of living with her father, injuries continued to appear on the girl’s body. She was placed in custody of the Department of Human Services in late 2008, but her father regained full custody in January 2009.
The girl’s father said the girl had “mental-health problems” and took multiple medications. He also said she would often hit herself, causing bruises.
Police are awaiting toxicology results to further the investigation. They have made no arrests so far.
