Sexually abusive dad drugged daughter, threatened to annihilate family if daughter told mother (Melbourne, Australia)

UNNAMED DAD has pleaded guilty to drugging his 12-year-old daughter and sexually assaulting her. This piece of sh** also threatened to kill her, the mother, and himself if she told the mother about the abuse.

Note that when the daughter told the mother anyway, the piece of sh** followed them as they attempted to leave the home, and tried to force their car into a collision.

A MELBOURNE father threatened to kill his daughter, his partner and himself if she told her mother he was abusing her, a court has been told.

The 35-year-old father plied his daughter, 12, with drugs and alcohol before sexually assaulting her in their suburban home at least weekly between September last year and February this year, the Victorian County Court heard yesterday.

The father, who cannot be identified, began his assaults under the guise of teaching his daughter about sex.

He pleaded guilty to 20 counts, including 11 of incest, three of administering a drug of dependence for sexual penetration and one each of attempted incest, intentionally causing injury and assault police.

Crown prosecutor Susan Borg said that in late January, the daughter began crying at the dinner table, prompting the father to threaten: "Do you want me to get a knife and kill someone?".

He warned his daughter that she should "think about what you're going to say or you will kill us all".

Two days later, while her mother was driving her to school, the daughter divulged the abuse, Ms Borg said. After packing their belongings, the mother drove away from the house but her partner gave chase, later driving on the wrong side of the road in an attempt to collide with the car.

The mother drove to a service station where she and her daughter hid behind the counter and the father placed a suicide note on her car, Ms Borg said. Police went to his house to check his welfare and, clutching a long-bladed kitchen knife, he ran out and begged officers: "Shoot me, I've done something bad". He was then arrested.

Ms Borg said the father gave his daughter marijuana, alcohol and pills before he assaulted her and described his behaviour as that which tore a family apart.

"A child should look to her father for protection, not harm," she said.

"The family has been destroyed. The child will now have to live with what's been done to her."

Defence counsel Jason Gullaci said the father had no prior convictions and his time in custody so far had been "a significant experience for him".

Mr Gullaci said his client — who told police in an interview that he didn't "know what's wrong with me; I tried to stop myself" — realised what he had done was wrong and was remorseful.

Ms Borg said the man should be jailed for 11-13 years, with a minimum term of eight to 10 years.

The father was remanded to reappear for sentence at a date to be fixed. He will be a registered sex offender for life.
