Another murder that never should have happened. UNNAMED DAD had an extensive history of violence. He was "questioned" in the murder of a woman in 1996, but never arrested or charged. That was another woman with whom he had a "troubled" relationship (that's the usual media euphemism for "man was abusive @$$hole, but that's not nice to say in print, so we'll blame the 'relationship.'") The latest murder victim also had a "rocky" relationship with UNNAMED DAD, with whom she shared a 12-year-old son. Two other children, apparently from an earlier relationship, are also left motherless by her death. Mom did all the right things--tried to get an order of protection, etcetera, etcetera. But the real sickos are not deterred by paper. Women need to learn self-defense and get their own guns. The system WILL NOT protect you.

Police Investigating Murder-Suicide in Buffalo
Marissa Bailey 10 hrs ago
BUFFALO, NY (WGRZ) -- Homicide detectives are investigating a murder-suicide on Tuxedo Place in North Buffalo. Police spokesperson Mike DeGeorge said a female in her late 40's and a male in his late 50's were found dead inside a home late Wednesday afternoon.
Police are not releasing the names of the victims' at this time as some family is still being notified.
Sources tell Channel 2, the couple who died had a violent history that included the female getting a restraining order against the male at point in the "rocky" relationship.
Police were called to the home on Tuxedo Place around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon after neighbors were concerned for the welfare of the woman inside. Neighbors say the woman came home to pack a few things before her new fiance' was going to pick her up to catch flights to Florida. The woman's new fiance showed up at the house but couldn't get inside. He called police, who eventually called the landlord who let officers inside the lower apartment. The 2 bodies were discovered a short time later. Sources tell Channel 2, the male shot the woman in the head with a 9mm hand gun then shot himself under the chin.
Numerous sources tell Channel 2, the male victim was questioned multiple times in the 1996 murder of Valerie Soos. She's the woman whose body was found naked in the back of her car behind Campbell's bar on Niagara Street. Police say her ring finger had been completely cut off. That case was never solved.
Neighbors say it was well known on Tuxedo Place that the male who lived in the apartment had connections to the 1996 murder and that the female victim was often urged to leave the troubled relationship. Neighbors say after meeting a new man and getting engaged, the female planned to leave Western New York and live in Florida, with her new fiance and near her brother. Investigators say she was picking up a few last items at the Tuxedo Place home before catching a flight to Florida.
The couple leaves behind a 12-year-old son. The woman also has 2 other children. Buffalo Police continue to investigate this case.
