Custodial dad who attacked daughter, murdered 3-month-old baby: more details released (Lehigh, Florida)

We reported extensively on this case back in May. What is not mentioned here is that dad MANUEL ROSALES obtained custody of his daughter when she was a teen, then proceeded to sexually abuse her. It is likely that the daughter's oldest child was fathered by--her father. The daughter had tried to break free from her father, but was frustrated by problems in getting orders of protection and/or getting the authorities to prosecute when she was assaulted. New details released about Lehigh Acres baby murder

LEHIGH ACRES Fla. - Prosecutors released hundreds of pages in their case against Manuel Rosales.

Karminda Rosales Salazar was attacked and her three month old child was murdered back on May 21. Her neck was slashed several times after an injunction for protection expired against her father, Manuel de Jesus Rosales. Rosales is accused of taking Karminda's infant and slashing the baby's throat in front of her. Rosales smashed in a sliding glass door as the argument escalated to the driveway.

Investigators said Karminda was able to make a statement at the hospital where she identified Rosales as her attacker and the man who killed her youngest child.
